Celebrities Nationwide Join VIDDY, Fueling Video App’s Surging Popularity

Venice, CA (April 27, 2012) – In just eleven days, booming social media iPhone app VIDDY has racked up more than 5.5 million additional users, making it the #1 free app in the Apple Marketplace and in turn, has attracted a variety of celebrity users from coast-to-coast.
Since launching last year, VIDDY, which many are hailing as the video version of Instagram, has banked more than 15 million users with over 500,000 new users joining each day. The app lets users shoot and share 15-second video clips using Adobe and Final Cut style visual effects pre-bundled into one-click production packages, similar to an Instagram filter – for video.
Celebrities all across the board have taken notice, with many creating their own user accounts, enabling them to share intimate short videos of their lives with the entire world.
